Pros

The slider has a tiny bit of play in it before it crosses the detent, but otherwise it's very smooth and solid feeling. I love that it doesn't have the extra switch for on/off, which just gives it a cleaner look. Easy to install.

The detent (between off/lowest) is silent yet just right to feel it clearly. There's a setting dial under the faceplate to adjust minimum/max brightness. This allowed me to get the dimmest possible low settings i wanted.

Cons

Switch causes the light to flicker uncontrollably when in any of the dimming positions. They even flicker when turned the dimmer all the way up to full brightness. I also get flickering on one circuit when the dishwasher is running.

The leviton dimmer is not a slide-to-off dimmer. It's a shame, because i love the design (single slider, not a combination of slider and switch) it also could not make the lights as dim as my other dimmer was able to do. Once replaced the led bulbs no... Read More

I used this on one of those dimmable led puck lights and it never flickers and causes problems.

Price

Very affordable, replaces ordinary switch, no need for a neutral or changing any wiring, just replace the switch.

But, these are *fantastic for the price*, and they work well with leds which will reduce my overall power bill.

Two priced just above what it would cost for one locally.

The data sheet shipped wth this dimmer lists connecting a neutral as one of the installation steps.
