Pros

Works & looks great! Saved us almost $20 over purchasing at local hardware store.

Leviton dimmer works well. Easy to install. Good dimming range, no humming.

Amazingly obtuse programming instructions. This is the only switch that works reliably. Leviton’s pdf on their website shows the a-b switch and has correct instructions.

Cons

Some lights jump in brightness change too abruptly. This flickers pretty consistently at the lowest setting, and sometimes starts to flicker just about anywhere.

The dimmer slider seems to only work from 60-100% brightness. The range and smoothness of the dimmer transitions is also poor.

Simple, good quality, i've used a bunch of these over time as a go-to for the type, modern version of the old push on/off rheostat of yore.

All the wires need to be spliced to existing wiring as the switch comes with 4 or 5 inches of wires attached to each connection.

This dimmer works with bulbs that aren’t even dimmable.

Price

Feels expensive and a good value even at 20 dollars.

But don’t forget to order the faceplate… american corporate greed i guess… $20 switches don’t come with a face plate!
