This outlet is a great solution for replacing a power strip or a direct plug-in surge protector. I use it for the electrical outlet i plug my treadmill into and it works great.

This is what you would expect from leviton. Has feed through capability. Mere mortals never really know if they work or not. You just cross your fingers that it will react properly if the situation arises.

Easy installation, used for sump pump motor. Easy to install. Good quality lots of great features.

Surge protector on my fridge and washing machine. Helps me to be able to push the fridge back another inch or two. Good insurance because the appliance electronic boards are astronomically priced.

Never came across that problem my entire career as an electrician. Major flaw --> it the surge protection is used, you have to replace the recepticle - there is no reset button.
