Pros & Cons
Pros
It works just perfectly as a remote switch. I have this paired with a leviton dawsc-2rw switch. Its reliable and has very little latency. Works great with alexa.
Cons
Leviton dswsc has a huge flaw that is very annoying. Constantly loses wifi and is nearly impossible to reconnect. When they work they are great, but they often go offline and you can't use the app until they magically reconnect.

Price
With the cost of electrical wire, this is also a more cost effective solution over running 14/3 romex!
Competitiveness
I have found leviton smart switches challenging to set up in apple homekit.

The owner needed to be able to turn on light without having to walk through the dark office to find a silly switch at other end of a room

Then pair wifi connected bridge to all other switches which it conveniently located when they are in pairing mode which is when they are flashing green

Easy and frankly a wonderful device for an application where dimming isn’t wanted or needed and a neutral wire isn’t there
