Pros

I really like the look and feel of the leviton z-wave decora switches. That is the ecosystem i have adopted. Alexa integration through a hub (i'm using hubitat) works fine.

I have them on halogens and leds (different circuits) and both are smooth. They support all of my existing led bulbs without issue. As long as the bulb is rated dimmable, these are nice and smooth. Makes using our phillips hue bulbs so simple.

This is the same as the 1000w dimmer that i have, the dz1kd-1bz. The main difference is the 4 led lights instead of the 7 on the dimmer for the level indicator. Resetting is easy -- just pull out on the bottom of the skinny dimmer rocker to the right ... Read More

The green light below the switch is every so slightly brighter, so especially at night you can tell which one is the fan controller. Works great using the stock handler (z-wave fan controller) with all 4 speeds.

Cons

The box only comes with the switch, the creme colored cover, and a manual. These dimmers are unreliable. This switch is not based upon a relay, but instead lowers the voltage to a level where a normal light would not power on.

This is disappointing because i had hoped that this would have been a more trustworthy brand. Used the lt.

This turned out to be the easiest, most cost effective way to solve our connectivity issues.

I'd give it 5 stars if it was 20% cheaper.

Packaging/appearance

Package was sealed, but one of the four items arrived in opened box - this should never happen.

Look for a bundle of white wires connected together to a single wire nut in your switch box.

I’ve had other brands of zwave devices that become undetectable.
