Bottom line, i feel some of the negative reviews for this switch are a bit unwarranted.

Price

Got a great deal on this from another seller (cheaper than amazon price).

Since we don't use the hot water often it helps save $$$$ on electricity.

Hopefully the pricing will come down soon!

Competitiveness

I have 2 other smart switches (both lutron caseta) and this was a lot faster setup with wink.

There are more expensive leviton switches that self report their status and the state of the switch is reported correctly almost instantly.

I use a vera lite controller and it recognized the leviton as "other" when the list of light switches to be paired came up.
