Had to use it because light in shower was wired to the gfi for safety reasons so had to get the wiring right for power in and power out

The only way to turn off the nightlight is by turning on a light in general or by pressing the test button on the gfci to pop the internal breaker

There is no way to just turn off this feature while keeping the switch on when its a bit darker than normal

Its quite unsafe to have a standard outlet so close to a water source
