Pros

Easier to install when replacing existing non-gfci receptacles. The install is not complicated but it has to be done right. Nonetheless, tis is a good product.

It's no harder to plug things in and out than an ordinary outlet. Proper safety practices often require gfc outlets in front of the circuit being protected, necessitating wiring in smaller boxes.

Cons

This product is junk and honestly felt like it was made in chine by children. The fact that it doesn't come with a cover plate is completely * and makes this even more overpriced. It's now ridiculously priced $21.

Light color has faded/burnout from a white-ish color to a more yellow-ish tint. Ungrounded devices can not be used with the receptacles received. Two other items work elsewhere but not in this outlet.

Out of 5 leviton gfci's, four were verified defective. Received as scheduled but not as advertised.

As of 3/20/2024, the unit i received still had the incorrect instructions.

After first was received broken, seller again sent by expedited fedex another which arrived intact.

Packaging/appearance

Placed this one inside a water proof box.

I had so much extra ground wire in the receptacle box that it touched the receptacle line and tripped the gfci.

Competitiveness

I chose 15a instead of 20a (both code legal) due to size.

We have some other gfci in the house which i'll replace with levitons soon.
