Pros

The smaller footprint in the back makes this easy to install along with being able to install straight wires behind the screws. Easy install, easy to use.

Leviton is a favorite supplier of electrical components. Amazon is the easiest place to find them. Goes from red to green for the test/reset. Replaced a backyard outlet to bring it up to code.

Great receptacle for outdoor use. Subject to get damp, but not wet. No issues with it inside an in-use box since i've had it no matter how hard it rains.

Cons

Purchased 2 of these, installed by an electrician, neither worked. Easier to return defective stuff. Plugs go in and out much easier.

They are very easy to replace and the failures happen in a safe manner so i'll keep buying this product.

Note if you want a tr receptacle, then you don't want this product.

Other than that, appears to be a fine product.

I had an outdoor 120v receptacle i needed to change to a 2-gang weatherproof receptacle to add additional led lighting.

I never have had an issue with a leviton outlet.
