Pros

The indoor, tamper resistant and weather resistant versions are the same physical size. I like that they have a green light that stays illuminated when you have power and they are not tripped. Outdoor rating works well for patio!

The only thing i would caution people about is i used this to replace an older (leviton) gfci with a pass-thru load. Either way, plug works great.

The plug allows for traditional loop attachment or straight wire securing. A wire strip gauge is also molded into the back. Helps avoid breaking the wire due to bending fatigue.

Cons

Took all wires off reconnected green light no power. Turn breaker off try again nope, took all wiresoff reconnected. Wouldn't reset, wouldn't test, wouldn't recover after cycling the breaker.

Product was defected despite showing a green light in front. Went to hd and picked up the same item. Makes me wonder if the unit i received was a fake or had been damaged and returned.

Competitiveness

The tamper resistant shutters work much better than earlier versions of the system from unknown brands i have used in the past.

I also like the leviton brand outlets because of the side wiring clamps.

I tried other brands and they were not reliable.

Don't spend your money on any other brand.
