Most of my residential customers live in a retirement community of about 120,000 residents. These are the dimmers that where installed in their homes originally.

Works well controlling 6 sixty-watt equivalent led dimable bulbs. Works really well on a fixture with 5 led bulbs. I have it working with ikea leds that other dimmers i tried did not cleanly get to work.

Threshold brightness (lowest preferred) can be set directly on the dimmer. It correctly dims led bulbs with no flicker. With the incandescent bulbs it is smooth and gives a good range of dimming.

It did little for the hum so i replaced the bulbs with led units and i still have some hum.

This one has been much more reliable so far, though has a far-from premium feel, with the light plastic button body being a bit rattly.
