Pros & Cons

Pros

The receptacle charges our 4 iphones - models 6s through xs. It charges an ipad air 2 and two other, older ipads. I use it for my ipad air and google pixel phone and both say they rapidly charge. The only down side is that if both usb c outlets are be...  Read More

It works perfectly! It eliminates clutter. The issues i have with this product are a few and minor annoyances.

Installation is a breeze if you know how to swap out an outlet. Installation is like any other outlet, except you'll have to shove the electrical wires in pretty tight due to the size of this thing.

This is the perfect solution for powering homepod mini's. Even though you don't have a phone/tablet plugged in it still has a device active. It works fine with usb-a to lightning cable.

Cons

The dimensions currently in the amazon listing are wrong. Avoid this product and try another manufacture. The bigger annoyance is that you can effectively only use one of the usb-c pd two ports. Maybe a super slim profile extension chord.

I can confirm works with the homepod mini with no error lights.

Price

Installing outlets which also include usb power ports seems like it will become standard as a soon as the price becomes more reasonable.

Shipping

This item works as expected, charges fast and had no issues installing.

Packaging/appearance

If you have more than two solid core wires in the single-gang box: good luck.

Competitiveness

These charge my devices pretty fast, except for my ipad, where i feel a 60w charger from anker does a much better job.

It powers a homepod mini but only that.

First, all the wires connect only on one side of the outlet, which for me, as a diy’er, made it difficult to get the outlet to ...  Read More
