Installing anything else is a waste of time and money as you will just be buying a usbc replacement for it in a few years

You need to buy a usbc pd labeled cable and you need to make sure it is rated to deliver at least 30w in pd mode

Although it has two usbc ports it can only support two modes 30w to a single port nothing else connected or 15w to both ports

The problem is that just plugging a cable into the second port even if the cable is not connected to a device forces the outlet into 2x15w mode

In a family situation you will likely have two cables plugged in always as people want to just walk up and connect their device not connect and disconnect one cable so the other devices can charge at gt15w
