Pros & Cons
Pros
It installs easier and smothers operationally. Beyond that it mystifies me how wrong most of the bad reviews are.
My halogens lights definitely need thedimmer do no big deal. The ability to set a minimum dimming level is also very handy.
Cons
Light turns on and off rapidly when set to full brightness, extremely narrow dimming range on slider making it very hard to set brightness. When i used a, the bulbs always start at low brightness and ramp up to whatever is set on the slider. This dimm... Read More
Pretty much worthless. It's an engineering flaw.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to install, dimmer works well, fits regular switch plate.
I was impressed with the quality built into this dimmer switch.
Flickers at low levels in 3-way application with fulight ep90-t8(dm)-4ft-18w-3000k in b mode.
Buy good name brand electrics with a ul seal.
Price
" well worth the cost to now have full control of our lighting.
The cheap price of the no name stuff wont be so sweet if it causes your house to burn down.
Works just like i expected but wish the price could be lower.
Packaging/appearance
It was a little larger than the original switch, but it was able to fit into the original switch box.
Competitiveness
I got the first one because it was not as wide as other brands and there wasn’t a lot of room in the box - it fit perfectly.
I couldn't find a local store that sells dimmer switches for high wattage led bulbs.
I didn’t see this brand i’d used for years and i thought a switch with a similar brand name was the same (not so much).
Anyway, this dimmer is better than the lutron one because it is narrower for multi gang installations and has higher power ratings.

If you have a bunch of wires coming together in that box you may have a depth problem too again mostly in older homes
