They do work perfectly with leviton controllers and with the harmony 890 remotes though.
My wife was very disappointed with the ge.
I could not get these to pair with the smartthings hub no matter what i tried.
Price
I feel that the slight extra cost is worthwhile.
The only thing that prevents me from installing more of them is the price.
Competitiveness
Aside from that, this switch works great with my z-wave network!
For 75$ you definitley get what you pay for, i would highly recommend this to anyone seeking a z-wave capable led dimmer!
The ge led can be programmed to invert or not turn on with z-wave variables.

I tried resetting them and every combination of button presses during pairing that i could think of but nothing seemed to work

Perhaps there is a way that i have not yet found but until someone posts some detailed instructions for how to use these with a smartthings hub i would stay away from these if thats what you wanted to use them with

I suspect the issue is more with the hub than with these switches since im sure leviton never designed these specifically to work with a 3rd party controller

The only point i would bring up is you had better know exactly what you are doing because customer service at leviton is condescending and rude

The x10 lights would sometimes turn themselves on at odd times or i would come home to a dark house because they didnt turn on at all
