The safe came in handy, as we reserved a cabana at the waterpark the safe inside was broken.
Btw - i bought the draw string back pack they offer as well, which is why i know carrying both is a pain.

Not bad for a day at the beach or the park but a determine thief could easily cut the straps with a pair of scissors or break the lock and hasp as its plastic

If you going to be in relatively close proximity to your stuff and able to keep an eye on it even from a distance this would work fine

I bought this to put my cell phone in when i go down to the beach and go swimming in the water but im never very far away from it

I think it will provide enough of a deterrent for the average thief who doesnt want to stand there in broad daylight and break the lock in front of everyone to get your stuff but in a secluded area out of eyeshot somebody who had the time could get into this
