Pros & Cons
Pros
If you look closely at the lock's shackle, it has a notch on the open end. Having to keep up with the card could be a hassle.
This lock has good heft and feels solid. They're mid-sided and durable enough to withstand a decent amount of jostling. They give the impression of durability and safety.
The item was packaged in a bubble mailer and did not suffer any damage upon arrival. Appears to be built sturdy for a luggage lock. Put the card in your wallet and don't worry about carrying keys.
Only downside is that the lock has about 2x the mass of a little key lock. It's about on par with most numerical combination locks, maybe a tad smaller.
Two cards are provided, one for a keychain and one to keep in a wallet. All you need is either the credit card key or the key fob key.
Cons
Don't waste your valuable $$ on this less than quality pos!
Highlights
Quality
I am so impressed by this new idea; at first i was skeptical but the cards are sturdy and the lock is easy to open.
This is an excellent lock, i have 3 now and have been completely satisfied with them.
The lock seamlessly opens whenever you use your provided keycard that slides into the lock in order to gain access.
The combination got spun accidently between locking it on to my luggage and i no longer had the combination.
Price
For the price, get the pacsafe one.
Shipping
The product was ordered and arrived in two (2) days using amazon prime's great two-day shipping option!
I've taken one star off my otherwise 5 start review because i ordered these for next day delivery (because i was about to leave... Read More
Packaging/appearance
The lock here is pictured with two full size cards, mine arrived with one full size card and one keychain card.
Competitiveness
I say this because it is very easy to pick tsa-approved locks in general, regardless of brand.
I compared this lock to the pacsafe tsa card lock, and it looks like they were made on the exact same assembly line.
