Pros & Cons
Pros
Lexar nm790 is a reliable choice for gamers and creators alike. Its 3000tbw endurance guarantees durability and the compatibility with playstation 5 is a huge plus for gamers. It works like no other ssd i've used before, significantly improving my gam... Read More
Slc dynamic cache is an absolute highlight. Designed with a heatsink that ensures optimum performance. Couldn't be happier.
Wanted a cheaper 4tb drive with a sleek, simple, heatsink for storage and machine learning. Capacity is a bit less due to spare sectors being used.
It holds temperatures very well, and it cranks out its advertised speeds. It seems a lot snapper than the 500gb ssd drive it had replaced.
The performance is exceptional. I admire the high write speed, it makes my work a breeze. The data security and speed it offers is truly remarkable. It's compact, efficient, and delivers high-speed performance.
Cons
The data is corrupted, showing gibberish file names and bizarre 2046 byte block sizes. The drive is extremely unreliable and shouldn’t be used to store any primary data. This is not the first time this has happened with this drive. It’s not even the f... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Used product for my ps5 works great and very easy to install
Very reliable ssd, works well in both my ps5, and laptop
Four months of constant use, zero issues.
The specs on this drive are, quite honestly, mind-boggling speeds.
Price
2 is running almost 3 times the speed of my super fast expensive "gaming" m.
However, if you are someone with multiple games, i would pay for the 2tb (i got the 1tb) because the space does go fast.
Competitiveness
Speeds are much better compared to more expensive options, trustworthy brand, is working flawlessly, so far.
Ps5 compatible ssd with heatsink cheaper than most of the competition, and just as fast as other brands.
But it’s very fast compared to hdd.
If i'm ever looking to upgrade, my 1st stop is back to lexar.
