Pros

Lexar nm790 is a reliable choice for gamers and creators alike. Its 3000tbw endurance guarantees durability and the compatibility with playstation 5 is a huge plus for gamers.

The performance is exceptional. Bought it for 185$ for 4tb, great for that price. The 6500mb/s write speed just blew me away!

The speed of this ssd is outstanding. My games load instantly and my entire os and hardware run smoothly and cooler. It seems a lot snapper than the 500gb drive it had replaced.

Remember to remove your sd card from the deck before opening the encasement. Put the medal cover back on the ssd housing. Restart system and boom. It comes with the screw needed to hold it down.

Cons

The specs on this drive are, quite honestly, mind-boggling speeds.

Running this nvme as my boot drive after i ran out of space on my previous nvme that is 500gb.

Price

Fantastic ssd, especially for the price i paid on cyber monday ($176 for 4 tb).

But everything is looking great so far so would definitely recommend at that price point.

So i bought this 4tb from amazon for only $239 and bought the m.

2 ssd support bracket with thermal shield heatsink for dell alienware from amazon as well for only 23 dollars.

Overall, lexar has made quite the bargain with this drive and i am satisfied with my purchase.

Highly recommend and the price is amazing compared to other drives with the same specs.

The competitors have the speed but also have high voltage draw, which was a negative if you want to put the ssd in a portable handheld.

I only spent a little more than other drives in its speed category in order to get twice the capacity.
