Pros

Plus, it's shock resistant, adding to its durability. Even if it only lasts a few years, i'm happy!

Cons

This is the first and last lexar hd or lexar product in genral i will buy. Samsung, sandisk, or crucial are a better competitor. Not recommended for truenas or zfs. Expecting to get around 480gb out of the 512gb of space advertised.

The problem is with the ssd. It's not detectable by the computer until 42 seconds after it's powered on. The ssd is identified after 10 minutes in device manager but not readable or writable by windows disk utilities.

Easy to install and configure boost on speed

There is nothing like cloning an os to a brand new ssd and watching the computer rip through tasks faster than it ever could before.

It dropped right in to the mounting bracket and the screw holes lined up properly.

Price

It was a great price and i’mvery happy with it.

This ssd is a really good bargain for upgrading older machines with mechanical hard drives.

If it ever drops under $20 again i'll be buying another for sure!
