Pros & Cons
Pros
This memory card does extremely well with recoding in 4k with no problems. The 8k video capture capability is simply amazing. Was able to record 8k60 video in n-raw without any overheating issues on a nikon z9.
In the world of sd & sdhc memory cards, this one stands out! The 1tb storage is more than enough for my heavy-duty photography needs. The card is a bit pricy but so are all cards with this capacity.
As a professional photographer, i demand the highest quality and speed from my gear. It’s an essential tool for any professional photographer or videographer. The burst-mode image capture is excellent for capturing action shots.
Read speed of 800mb/s ensures quick data transfer. Write speed of 1250 mb/s and sustained write speed make video and photo transfers speedy and efficient. High-speed performance is impressive, allowing me to quickly transfer and backup my files.
Cons
When i use this card the card constantly ejects from my computer. It how consistently pauses filming on my canon r5. Some reducing the storage capacity by 65gb. But when reformatted it still only leaves me with the 255gb of storage space.
Highlights
Quality
The card feels robust and durable, which is essential for someone like me who often works in challenging environments.
Small, feels good and robust in hand, and that upload speed!
As a professional photographer, i demand the highest quality and speed from my gear, and this memory card delivers on all fronts.
You get "zero" buffering, 10 fps shooting, compressed raw on sony a7r5
Price
I bought this card because it was on sale.
There was on an amazing sale for this card so i grabbed the 320gb for recording 4k 10bit as a b-cam.
Competitiveness
The cheaper off-brand “pergear” cards work great in the a7iv.
Moreover, the reliability of the lexar brand shines through.
But again, it does as advertised and lexar is a good brand name in the industry.
Not sure how quality compares with others but the price was better here and it’s working great for me.
