Pros & Cons
Pros
I am a photographer and transfer hundreds of images at a time an have had no issues thus far. Works fine with other brand cards, no issues with heating up. Works with both sd and cf cards.
This thing is really well-built. Very compact and very good for this price. Build quality seems sturdy. This unit is not heavy but it has some heft so it stays put on my desk.
Transfer speeds are pleasantly fast using the usb 2 to usb c connection. Can transfer from my cfexpress2 at 800mb/s without any slowing in speed. Reliable and super fast.
Cons
The lexar cf express reader is perhaps the worst card reader i have ever had. The microsd slot is weak and the retention mechanism stopped holding on to the cards in the first few times i used it. This reader is garbage.

Highlights
Quality
This reader has very fast transfer rates, my only downside of it is that the rubberized coating of the reader is pretty easy to scratch up.
This is a fast reader and it seems ruggedly built.
Instead of ~90 mb/sec with pretty old transcend rdf-5 supporting uhs-i only
What use to take me an hour, now takes less than 5 minutes.
Price
Price is right as well especially if you want to grab an extra one for your bag.
Not the cheapest, but well worth the money.
Competitiveness
Compared to transfer speeds a few years ago this is a huge time saver.
Works fine with other brand cards, no issues with heating up.
