Pros

This unit is not heavy but it has some heft so it stays put on my desk without getting in the way of anything i am doing. The build quality seems sturdy. Also this one looks a lot cooler then the other three i currently own, just by a little bit.

Worked well for me as a photographer. Works with both sd and cf cards. I use it with my macbook and also with my ipad pro the card reader also has a good amount of heft to it and seems like it will last a long time.

Transfer speeds are pleasantly fast using the usb 2 to usb c connection. Makes me worry about the longevity.

Cons

Speed is erratic. Took 10 minutes to transfer 8gb. Plugging my camera directly into my pc using usb-c is much, much,much faster.

This reader has very fast transfer rates, my only downside of it is that the rubberized coating of the reader is pretty easy to scratch up.

This product did get pretty hot when being used so be cautious to not overheat your memory card or the reader itself.

Really small and portablecomes with usb-c to c cable and usb-a to c.

Really good price to some of the others i’ve seen.

So if you are like me and use a desktop pc be ready to fork out another $15-25 for a longer 10gbit+ cable.

Not the cheapest, but well worth the money.
