It has integral color changing lighting which is pretty cool and it’s made of aluminum with an attractive matte finish. It lights up gently and switches through vibrant colors while it's in use.

It even comes with a nice stand (as pictured) the cover is a fold-over folio with pockets for the drive and cables. Comes with a stand, a felt cover that fits the drive & cords, (2) +/-16.

The lexar sl200 1tb portable ssd boasts good performance in an eye-catching package. Be sure to safely remove or eject the ssd before unplugging it, to avoid data loss.

Cons

Now i am convinced it's a piece of junk. Pros:-super light weight. Not heavy enough to use as paperweights.

During a full-drive write, the ssd accepted around 110gb at full speed, then dramatically slowed down for the rest of the operation.

There is no rule set so for now my data remains unencrypted.

Got good deal on this drive for $72.

I was running out of storage and didn’t want to spend almost $200 for the overpriced expansion card.

I would have bought more but the price has gone up.

Packaging/appearance

The drive comes nicely packaged and included everything needed to get it going.

Also included in the package is a small stand to place it vertically, and a cover for transport.
