It's a tad heavy, but not sure a lighter axe would be as durable. The blade isn't very sharp, but that's no big deal. It has a storage case to protect the sharpe edge.

Reasonably priced. Very satisfied with my purchase. Still, overall for the price it's excellent!

Small, lightweight and sharp. The handle is comfortable and ergonomic. Versatile as well.

The hatchet is great for cutting small trees and branches. Well balanced, splits logs as advertised. Be reasonable, not fo cut trees, but good enough.

Only used it for splitting and chopping. Not so, it drops though knotty logs with ease. Must be a product flaw.
