I dont think it would be as durable as the flexible cateye cages i have on my fatbike but this bike wont be exposed to that kind of offroading

Though i havent tried it i would bet that its a great cage for under the downtube should you have a bike frame with that location as an option

I have never lost a water bottle because it was ejected when using this cage even when located on the lower portion of the down tube

Other cages have broken and these hold up to abuse

Lightweight and reasonably priced got two and they hold my 21 and 25 oz camelbaks snug look good on the bike and did not cost the ridiculous amount charged for anything with the word carbon in the description
