Competitiveness
As far as i can tell this lg is as good as the dell.
Looks great - easy to set up, much better colours than my benq which was more expensive.
Also the options you can change for vga, dvi and hdmi connections are completely different.
Ips is the way to go but didn't want to buy another 200 pound dell ultrasharp which is the monitor i am using myself.

Minor complaints are the fact that you have to either click the power twice in order to turn it off or hold it for 5 seconds just a pet peeve of mine no serious issue

I was using a hkc 2249a for 18 months or so and the vga port on the monitor started dying so i thought it might be time to sell it and go for something from a reputable company with a nice design and a obviously a nice screen

I found this lg screen which did not have many reviews and most people giving negative feedback on it were saying that the colour callibration was off
