Pros & Cons
Pros
This monitor is great as a second monitor. Wife wants one for her crafting room now too, so it looks like i'm going to have to buy a second one before she snatches this one from me. Looks aesthetically pleasing.
It does this flawlessly and has a great picture. The image is very good, but it's 1080p, so nothing astonishing. The panel color quality as well as the refresh rate is something you would find on a tv.
Webos has most of the usual suspects of apps, except directv stream. It has full wifi and all the big steaming apps work on it. Accepts tons of apps and has airplay and android options as well.

I just needed a monitor for at home and this was affordable and works well.
This turned out to be cheaper than a smart tv.
Plus it goes on sale relatively often so i was able to get it at $166.
Competitiveness
You could easily use this smart monitor as a pure streaming media display, webos is far more responsive than my past experience... Read More
This is the only one i’ve seen aside from apple which is signficantly more expensive.
If you’re into a minimalist work from home setup, the speakers are much better than similar priced monitors.
If you are looking for a real monitor, there is far better options out there for cheaper like the aoc 27inch 165hz.
