Pros
The monitor is clear and has exceeded my expectations. The image is nice, a bit colder than my other monitor but nothing bad. Some reviewers say this screen isnt good with text.
I mainly use this for office work but it would be great for gaming with the 100hz refresh rate. Perfect for a small area in my bedroom and once connected to the small new soundbar (there are no speakers with this tv) this little tv does the job.
Once you open the box it’s very easy to get it assembled. Assembly is required but is straightforward by installing 6 screws on base of stand and to the back of monitor. The large and long power brick can be challenging to make fit on your power bar.
This screen has a function called super resolution that i use on low setting that sharpens the image really well. Ips lcd gives great colors and really good view angles, and this one is pretty fast to prevent blurring. The reader mode and flicker safe... Read More
The lg 27ms550 27 monitor is a large and affordably priced entry level monitor. Picture quality is good with good colours and decent brightness. The only think i wish was the resolution, it only supports up to 1080, which is a bit limited.
Cons
This is the monitor i imagine an abusive boss would purchase to needlessly bully his employees. The control features are a nightmare. While i try, the idiot sound effects keep chirping at me.
The screen resolution is very bad, not hd at all. It has a hazy screen even at full brightness. Anything that revolves around video or pictures is blurry.

You press to bring up the menu and then gently toggle the button left to right, up and down to go through the options.
-the bottom of the monitor sits at about 91mm from the desk with the non-adjustable stand.

Good inexpensive monitor , would go up one size though , would buy this brand again
I bought this moniter because of it's awesome features for a cheap price.
At the time of writing this review, this lg fhd (27ms550) monitor costs $174.
For the price it does what i need.

Came with a very dim setting but figured out you can increase brightness via settings in the monitor

The major thing that i don’t like about it is the barrel jack that they used instead of a c13c14 plug

Should the barrel jackadapter fail in some way you’ll probably have to replace the entire thing

The next thing i’ll talk about is the edges of the monitor which i describe as looking “off”

What this means is that when you look at the monitor at an angle some parts of the screen won’t be lit and will make it look dark

The only real thing you can do about this is make sure that you don’t have this monitor at an angle
