Lgs woled is simply superior to the qdoled technology that samsung uses.

Just the overall brightness levels and color reproduction alone make it better than even the higher priced lcd monitors i've used before.

Tldr:the brightness on this model was supposed to be superior to the previous model but it's still underwhelming.

With a 10% window the gr model achieved 209 nits where as the new gs model achieved 326 nits.
