We had not bought a tv in a long time, so were very out of date, took a chance buying this one as we had not seen the picture, the picture is unbelievable, actually suffered high resolution shock for a couple of weeks, it is hard to describe how wonderfully clear the picture is, the webos is a hidden gem for sure, we had no idea of how functional this would be, we regularly watch the free channels and no longer use cable services, we added a peel and stick antenna to a window facing the closest tv tower and presto, super high def over the air local tv channels, the converter is exactly right, just enough buttons to get the job done !  Read Less
