A great monitor to future-proof for and very much a very pleasing upgrade for someone who has been out of the monitor game for 5+ years.
Poor choice for productivity due to aggressive curve and uneven degradation on static elements, also poor text clarity in windows.
If you buy this you have a 2 year warranty on everything even the oled screen so what is not to like.
Price
Is price at $1000k when discounted, but is worth every penny.
Overall, a great experience, especially on sale.
My purchase price for this monitor on 10/17/2024 was $999 -- it was far below msrp.
Over priced, it went on sale 2 days after we bought it.

Side comment: amazon's associates totally left this in the rain at delivery.
The monitor was delivered as stated and the quality of the product is excellent.
Packaging/appearance
There was condensation accumulated inside the waxy/foamy packaging sheet due to just how soaked it got.
Competitiveness
Lgs woled is simply superior to the qdoled technology that samsung uses.

Coming from a dell 34uw @ 60hz, there is no comparison.
The colors look very good compared to lg c3 tv.

This thing also has dts headphonex support for 3d sound so audio is not an issue but this does not have speakers so use headphones or buy a set of external speakers i would use headphones with the audio jack

Categorieshdr incredible not as peak as the new 4k oleds howeversdr around 300 nits not as bright as your average 4k but i dont think you need higher than 300 so it works in bright roomsprice lowest priced oled right now excluding the chinese knock offsresponse time instant like less than 1 ms which is absurdly fastinput lag incredible at any hz oled give the best input lag

That means even if you play a single player heavy graphic game at max settings and only get 60hz it is still going to be smooth

Note if you do not have at least a 4070 ti or the amd equivalent 6900 xt to 7900xt or so then this monitor is a little too much

It is not that you cannot reach high refresh rate it is just that you will not utilize 180240hz all that often and in newer titles
