I suppose it is a little loud but i wouldnt have even thought of it if i hadnt read other peoples reviews you can definitely hear it come on if youre in the same room but the noise it makes is definitely a pleasant sort of white noise not some kind of irksome industrialsounding grinding or whatever and i havent found it bothersome at all
