Pros

Lg thinq comes with a remote that allows you to adjust the settings from across the room. Still have app and remote to adjust its modes.

Even at its highest fan speed, the noise remains tolerable and not bothersome. It cools efficiently without much noise. It works efficiently and cools quickly.

The enclosure comes with curtain sliders and foam coverings. There were also small brackets included to install on the outside of the house. The ac slides out of the enclosure and you install the enclosure per the instructions in your window.

Btu cooling unit is perfect for a medium-sized room. Has enough power to cool a 15'x15' room with a powerful computer and dual monitors. Cools off the entire ground floor very well which is about 500 sqft.

Good, because it is mounted about six feet off the ground. The only downside is that it's pretty heavy and sticks out the window.

Cons

Took 10 days to arrive. There are three dents in the back and the fins have a huge scar. Some of the welds also look poor.

This is a big ticket item listed for over $600 that was just shipped with zero consideration of how it would arrive. Do yourself a favor and don’t ever buy anything from lg.

Received a unit with 14k btu as ordered.

The package was slated for delivery between july 4th and 11th but was delivered june 28th, so that was a pleasant surprise.

Unit unpacked, found one minor dent in the installation case bottom rail.
