I have a kenmore elite top load washing machine i have had coins come out of pants pockets and this machine has a thin gap between agitator and tub and thats where the coin ends up it has happened a couple of times it destroys the coin and i noticed the clothes are not as clean it still worked but made noise and the agitator was not working which explains why the clothes did not look as good this was an easy fix save the old large coil spring it does not come in package with prime i got part the next day you do not miss something until you break it
