Works perfectly on my macmini ( intel) with macos big sur. Works well with 2018 macbook pro. Connects seamlessly to mac and itunes automatically without any additional software. Free software is good & useful.
The cd drive is lightweight and hassle-free. Comes with an oem cyberlink media suite so you can do your backup, copy, etc. Mostly used for ripping music (legally) from the local library.

Great little dvd rom player impressed as its so compact havent had any issues with it i needed dvd software to play movies region free as the software that was included on the disk was fairly good but didnt play dvds as i had hoped

Software supplied only works on windows which was not explained when ordering so is quite frustrating

The lg external drive was the best price l could find at it was almost half the price being charged by some other sites and the delivery is spot on as the item arrived on the day that amazon said it would 1010

Tried scouring for mac osrelated software from lgs website but failed

Sadly it only supports windows os and had to borrow my sons windows laptop in order to use it
