Cons
When it fails, it hangs the laptop and i need to reboot. Tried multiple times, reread reviewer comments and followed word for word.
It only needs to connect with one usb port and it is easy to open. This drive is not compatible with mac! It's just so easy for lg to put mac compatible on the case and then sell it to suckers like me.

But as long as you don’t shake it or drop the cd player when the cd is in you shouldn’t have a problem

The only problems are 1 that the tray has fragile supports on the edges which broke away on one side that was easily glued back in place though and 2 that the tray doesnt quite clear the body when open making it a bit difficult to insert and remove a disk potentially causing the disk to be scratched if care isnt taken

I only bought it because my computer has no drive and i wanted to upload software and be able to access files from my previous computer that i had burned onto disks
