Pros

What i hope i can do is attach a piece of hose to the drain and let it drain into a bucket. This really is an easy problem to solve. It is easy to install.

Not perfect, but annoyances during installation are somewhat easily remedied. Don't forget to buy a wood rod to secure your window from burglary. Only complaint is the hose unit.

Noise is a little on the loud side, but after a while it's not too bothersome. It drowns out the sound of the dogs barking in the neighborhood. The unit is louder than all our window units but it doesn't make any annoying noises.

It only cools for a while then stops cooling for no reason, no error indicator. I took it back and went to target and bought a haier, it works like a charm! It goes back tomorrow.

Bad design. Very robotic, outsourced, customer service with poor english.

The window vent system is poorly designed. I assume it's * hot air out of the hose that should have been blown out the window first.

Wrong, it gets up to 94 degrees inside my apartment with the patio door wide open.

I agree with the other reviews that the oem exhaust tube setup is worthless.

(used like new $50 storage locker find) never find one cheap when you need it, i paid full price for the whynter.

The price is excellent for the value.

I really love it for the price i got it for.

The wheel was listed and the price was $17 plus shipping and the wheel was out of stock but they would order a wheel.

It is kind of loud but small price to pay for having cooled air.

This 9,000 btu unit was what i wanted and when i saw these on amazon for $268 with free shipping, it was within my budget!

I checked ebay for a 2 diameter wheel and ordered one for $4 with free shipping.

I searched the web for an lg (i wanted this brand), and found that home depot had the same price and also free shipping.
