My only downside is probably pretty standard of these style of armbands and that is its not very obvious where to raise or lower the volume once the phone is inside the case but its really not a big deal

However as g5 owners are aware the power button on the phone makes it awkward to find a case that accommodates it

It does hold the phone up pretty well though so its hard to argue against this armband
