Cons

The filter box was crushed, taped and relabeled, giving every appearance of being questionable. This is either counterfeit or got bad unit. It's not worth risking compromising my family's health and just trying out this filter anyway.

It's frustrating as this was sold by and shipped directly from amazon. I hope they get to the bottom of the quality control issue and are able to remove the bad ones and resume selling strictly non-contaminated filters.

Quality

The ilg lt600 filter works great in our lg refrigerator.

It delivers clean-tasting water and i had no problem with the installation.

Not sure of the quality of the water, but, i buy only this filter for my fridge.

But at least this seems simpler now with the f version being sold.

Price was reasonable and will be better than buying bottled water and having the empty bottles all over.
