Pros
It fits perfectly. Love the remote. The remote is very helpful.
The air conditioner is surprisingly quiet. It is quieter than most people have suggested.
Cons
It keeps getting smelly because it doesn't drain well. It is so bad that i am not replacing it with the same model or manufacturer.
It acts as if it’s low on coolant. It only cools based on temperature level and the coldest setting is 60. Down to 63 after 1 day.

Solid upgrade from the old unit, blows cold and quick.
Works great and was easy to install.
Work ok, filter light a little sensative , and cycles a lot on energy saver but all in all it kept me cool all summer
Fairly easy to install with a few pieces of wood needed to make it fit tightly in the window.
Price
For the money so far this lg is a bargain.
It performs well and is a good value for the price.
Packaging/appearance
It came dented, but i'll keep it any way because it works fine and i'm not to be bothered by such and such.

When it got to 118 degrees recently i wondered if this unit would handle

It kept the temp below 80 degrees and kept the rubber plug in back to make use of the 34sling fan34 to throw the water into the condenser for expulsion rather than drip

Its dry here anyway but after 2 days saw water up to ridge in back but no drip so i guess its working

It is considerably quieter than my old 26 year old sanyo in the other bedroom keep in mind they arent used more than a month of days here in so

The coils in back are starting to corrode on the old sanyo so probably will replace with another lg soon
