The picture is extremely readable, even at small fonts. Granted, i am not used to super high class monitors so take that fwiw. I am able to reduce the size of my fonts significantly such that i can get far more information on the screen.

The 5k display's 5120x2880 native resolution scales nicer when you run it at 2560x1440 like most people will. This 27 inch 4k uhd matches the lg ultrafine version spec for spec at half the price.

Everything just works as advertised. Lg is a trusted brand in my house. Was a great price and shipped very fast.

Months after purchase the issue with the joystick switch has reappeared. Short warranty + poor quality = waste of money. Poor longevity stands at a whopping 2 months.

The colors are not very accurate either, but i'm not sure how best to calibrate the screen. Scaling means your graphic card has to scale everything for the size you picked, and that results in blurry text, and not so smooth scrolling.

Stand is sturdy and adjustable in all directions.

Anyway, i set it up to the max resolution (3840 x 2160), which is slightly less than the ultrafine.

Some of my opinion comes down to use model, but i'm guessing there are a lot of people in that same boat.
