Pros

The sound on this is top notch. Great sound and clarity. This model sits in the sweet spot between extremes. That's when i began researching soundbars.

This sound bar is terrific and sounds amazing! The sound bar seems ruggedly built not cheap plastic. It is a pretty swell unit.

Small den really enhances the sound quality. Movies and streaming are outstanding. As long as your bedroom height isn't high you'll get the effect of the height effect with dolby atmos!

Cons

The sound is very tinny and hollow. The problem stems from it dropping connections to the tv on both e-arc and optical. It disconnects every time we switch from one input to another, such as from prime video to netflix. It also turns off completely fr... Read More

If you have never dealt with lg customer support consider yourself fortunate. After working with this for a couple weeks, have big regrets. Don't make the same mistake as me.

I got this on a black friday sale and it's been amazing.

For the price, im super thrilled with the s65.

I also purchased it on sale for 140$.

For the price though i think its the best for the money.

Competitiveness

I returned another branded soundbar that lost the arc connection and required reboots.

I know there are others that sound better and cost just a bit more.

I don't really know why people bother saying the sounds it's "not as good as other hight tier sound bars" like the sq90y.
