The rear speakers compliment the sound bar with great surround sound. The sound from the bar and sub is very good, not weak or thin.

It’s not just mumbled up loudness. Blows me away.

Cons

Buyer beware, it is impossible to set this up to work. Took one month to get back, still malfunctioning. Notified lg customer service a second time, they want to try to repair it again?

It's almost as if the sub isn't on with stock settings. The bass is very minimal even in the bass blast mode. Overall audio quality is disappointing.

I bought this around black friday and it was $500 off, so great price and bang for your buck at that cost - ultimately a great sound bar.

So, at least if it's on sale, i can 100% recommend.

Packaging/appearance

It was securely packaged, hefty, and easily configured.

Competitiveness

The bose 900 is what i have now - it does fit the c1 better, although it only blocks it <1inch.

I'm not sure if there is any benefit to matching lg sound systems with lg tv's but it seems to work well in this case.

Didnt think this will be better than my old samsung soundbar and boy was i wrong.
