The screen is not very bright making it difficult to see in normally lit environments so you end up having to use the monitor in the dark which is really daft. Flashbangs look grey on csgo somehow too lol, probably again tied to the brightness.

Hdr is superb, the curve is hardly noticeable after a week and the size of the screen is truly perfect for complete immersion.
Price
If you can find it for less than £1000 then go for it you won’t be disappointed.
Hard to say, but if you can afford it its nice - more of a luxury than a requirement.

Thankfully, lg customer service were fab and gave me a returns reference and told me to send back to amazon.

Also the usb ports don’t output any power so you can’t charge a phone or anything with them, this seems to be typical of lg ultragear.

I tried a few big screen monitors trying to find the perfect one and i was struggling

My main monitor was a gigabyte m32q ips which has been great for a couple years but i wanted something bigger and with better performance in darker games

I tried a philips evnia oled 34” which was horrible and a couple of 40” ips which weren’t bad but were basically the same as my 32” but just a bit bigger
