From the images and description i thought the back panel would have no tint at all and the rose gold color would just be on the perimeter

Just be aware the rear panel does have a slight tint to it not just the sides

I bought this with the sole intention of using it with a google cardboard vr headset as the one i have has suction cups to hold the phone in place and the textured back of the v10 doesnt lend itself to that
