the kickstand has a little lock mechanism that you have to manually put into place until you hear it click just opening it alone wont make the stand stay in place

while the kickstand is not in use the case does not have anything for slipresistance so you can make that sucker spin like a fidget spinner

Here are a couple of things i would like to point out for future buyersthings to know the case is all one thing the image of the layers is meant to explain its components but this isnt like an otterbox where you first put the sleeve on and then the case
