Overall, i'm happy with the purchase and would recommend it to others.
I didn’t buy this washer, but it came with the house we bought so i've owned it for a little over a year.
It replaced the ubiquitous electrolux/frigidaire/kenmore basic washer which didnt hold up well and had to be replaced at 9 years.
This product beat them all on paper with the existing reviews and the warranty.
Price
00 for gas and water rebates, so after all that the price is really quite competitive.
If left too long, drum will wear a hole in tub and cost you more to replace.

Competitiveness
I use dreft(or generic dreft) and fabric softener and the clothes come out smelling so good always.
Plus its fun to watch a frontloader run; try and get entertainment out of a toploader!
We've used a bunch of different brands as well, era, all, dreft, etc.
