If you have sata cables on your psu like the one i added it ain't gonna be pretty. In the back the plugs for the hdds are one inch apart vertically. If you've got a psu, it's gonna be a pain.

My biggest downside for this case would be that there is no 1 step method to open the glass side

Yes they are on hinges and magnetically held closed and yes the magnets work quite well to keep the sides closed but in order to open the glass side you first need to pull the lower side cover down its on hinges too so that you can put your finger under the lower edge of the glass panel and pull the glass panel open

Otherwise though the lancool ii is very much the smaller version of the lancool iii and comes with basically all of the same features and options albeit of course it is missing a few options that really only work in the larger size case so i dont consider that to be a drawback
