Pros & Cons
Pros
Bottom is red as i think regular use has burnt the black topping off---not really a concern. It's very heavy and seems very sturdy. Solid, heavy and durable.
The leg-high grate is very sturdy and easy to clean out. The legs allow for better ventilation and more room for ashes to accumulate between cleanings.
Cons
I only burn wood, no chemicals or any type of accelerant which would cause a fire to burn exceedingly hot. See the attached pictures for the product failure.

Competitiveness
Oh, and one more thing--the grate was packed really, really well.

Btw it's a perfict fit for my fireplace.
) did i mention it weighs in at an impressive 26lbs.
